Relationship Advice – 5 Things A Man Should Not Let A Woman Talk Him Into
I know that a lot of Ladies are not going to like me for this, but we can’t always “male bash”. There are a lot of good MEN out there that let bad WOMEN walk all over them. So here are 5 Things A Man Shouldn’t Let A Woman Talk Him Into
1. Talk Him into marrying Her:
Sometimes men get married for all the wrong reasons. Most of the time, the woman has talked him into doing this crazy act.
Men you shouldn’t marry a woman because she had a baby with you. You shouldn’t marry because you’re afraid she is going to leave you. And you shouldn’t marry a woman because of money.
You should marry her because you love Her. Because you to want the same things in life and are willing to work together to get them.
If you marry a woman that has talked you into marrying her, 8 times out of 10, it is going to end in divorce. So marry her because you want to.
2. Having Unprotected Sex With Her:
Everything that glitters is not gold. So, just because she looks like she is “clean“, doesn’t mean that she is. There are some nasty woman out there trying to give diseases away because someone gave it to them. Men and Women need to protect themselves because their life depends on it.
3. Cross Dress For Her:
NEVER let her talk you into cross dressing “for laughs” and taking pictures of it. There is no reason why a man should wear women’s clothes – that is not SEXY. They make men’s clothing for a reason and that is for men to wear them.
4. Commit a Crime
This was mentioned in my other blog about things Women Shouldn’t let Men talk them into. The same goes for men.
Some women ask for lots of things and some men will steal and nearly kill to please their woman. This is foolish.
Your freedom is precious and you should never risk it to please someone else. If they really love you, they would never ask you for anything that would require you to risk your freedom.
5. Feeling Insecure
A lot of women have the tendency to make their man feel smaller. Whether or not it is on purpose, a man should always stand up for himself in these instances.
Many women are guilty of making our man feel inadequate financially, sexually, emotionally, or whatever. This is wrong and men should never allow themselves to be belittled. A woman that really loves you will encourage you and accept your imperfections, since we are not perfect either.
Relaxer and Hair Loss
– “My Hair Use To Be That Long!!!!!”
Perm also known as Relaxer can cause hair breakage, hair thinning, lack of hair growth, scalp irritation, scalp damage and hair loss. These are just some of the complaints that I hear from my friends.
AND WHY IS THAT??????
BECAUSE………. Relaxer contains a chemical called Sodium Hydroxide also known as Lye.
Sodium Hydroxide is found in many industrial solvents and cleaners, including flooring stripping products, brick cleaners, cements, and many others.
It may also be found in certain household products, including:
- Aquarium products
- Clinitest tablets
- Drain cleaners
- Metal polishes
- Oven cleaners
So while Relaxer makes your hair look good, it damages your hair and your scalp, which causes your hair not to grow healthy.
Don’t get me wrong! I’m not against getting a relaxer, because I use to get them when I was a teenager (I got tired of getting burnt by the hot comb). Plus, my mom didn’t know how to do my type of hair. But – I refuse to get a relaxer now.
I just decide to take that extra time to blow dry and flat iron my hair. And perform the correct hair care for my type of hair. But I know that everyone’s hair is different.
However, the next time I hear some lady say “My Hair Use To Be That Long“, I’m going to ask Her does she know what Relaxer does to the hair??????? And tell her that she needs to go see “Good Hair” by: Chris Rock.
I AM NOT MY HAIR:
If it is straight, curly, long or short.
If it is perm, naturally, braided or dreads.
If it is glued in, sewed in, colored or a wig.
No matter if we are African American ,Caucasian, Spanish or Asian.
We all have the same problems. We all share a Sisterly bond.
“WHAT TO DO WITH THIS HAIR ON MY HEAD?”
We are always trying new hairdo’s and hair products. Trying to get that perfect hair we see on our favorite celebrities.
But have we, as women, taken this hair thing too far?
I was watching the Tyra Bank’s show a few weeks ago and they had a Episode on there where they had kids talking about their hair. I was sad, by the end of the show, to know that some kids didn’t like how they looked because of their hair.
Some of these kids had short hair and some of them had very long hair. Some of their mothers were taking them to the salon to get weave sewn-in and perms.
I was like – what age is too young to get a perm and a sew-in weave?
Are we that obsessed with our own hair that we have to put our hair beliefs on our children. If so, we need to take a look in the Mirror and fix what is inside of us that is broken.
In the famous song of India Arie:
I am not my hair
I am not this skin
I am not your expectations no no
I am not my hair
I am not this skin
I am a soul that lives within
Maybe we need to live by these words. Our HAIR shouldn’t make us are break us. We can be beautiful with it, but we are also beautiful without. Love yourself just the way you ARE.
